Arts, entertainment and cultural events: something new at each stop.

48 pupils will benefit from artist Amtha Kol's expertise. She is here in first session with MS and GS pupils on 18 Feb. 2014.

The activities of this awakening workshop are designed to meet the needs of an educational development project of Caravane d’Afrique.

Educational project

These activities are already effective at the mixed primary school of Pougues-les-Eaux (Burgundy, France). They will be gradually extended and made available to other local authorities, educational institutions and art schools, as well as other organizations.

Workshop's achievement with carnival-like street animation and end of school year shows

The return or outcome of the work to be achieved in this workshop is planned in two phases:

  • A first strong beat or highlight in which Caravane d’Afrique would gladly welcome the participation of pupils in a carnival-like street entertainment alongside and in exchange with professional artists.
  • A second highlight in which pupils will return the work done in the form of an end of the school year entertainment. The show scheduled on 24th June 2014 at the hall of Pougues-les-Eaux is a good example of this. It is the same for the show scheduled for 29th March, 2014 with the Rosalie Company.
